Beit Rima is easily one of my favorite spots in SF. The food is consistently amazing—the meze platter is super fresh and packed with flavor, and Samir’s bread is next-level good: warm, fluffy, and perfect for scooping. The chicken shishtawook is another standout—juicy, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. We usually head to the Carl Street location—parking is way easier there, and it has a cozy, homely vibe. They’ve got both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it great for any occasion. That said, the wait can get pretty long, especially on weekends, so try to come early or be ready to hang out a bit. Bonus points for the Palestinian cola on the menu—such a fun, unique touch that adds to the charm. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again.

Got there at 11:30 for lunch on a Monday and we were the only people there. It took us a while to realize that we needed to order at the counter. The chicken Landon plate was outstanding, with tender chicken on a bed of sauted onions and peppers, with hummus and pita. The portion was huge and I could only eat half of it. My friend had the falafel plate with large falafel balls that were also very good. The place did fill up over the next hour, but it was still quiet enough to hear each other talking. The whole menu looked enticing and I’m looking forward to coming back!

I prefer this location- Easier to find parking and away from traffic. also the outdoor seating is so nice during n the spring. Delicious food in the cutest (but small) spot. The flavors really hit and everything was very fresh. Chicken Shish plate is the one to get!!!! It's well seasoned and tender. loved the side of pickles rice and humus that it comes with. Also got the Beef Kabob plate, which was good but a little dry. Flavors were there and also a very large portion of food. Very authentic and cozy spot. I would recommend for a post work bite or date ;)

Great food! Did our own version of surf & turk with the fried Branzino, Lamb Shank and Hanger steak. All were selecciona and flavorful. Definitely recommend starting with the Mezze sampler and indulging with some pita bread. Snag a bottle of win and your meal is complete! The place is pretty small though and they don’t take reservations so if you have a big party (4) make sure to join the waitlist prior to your arrival.

Amazing time here! The service was really fast and friendly, and the food was delicious! Our favorite highlights were the hummus and the beef kebabs! The beef was so well seasoned and tender, and the hummus was very flavorful! We got the Palestinian chicken dish, Musakhan, but felt a bit disappointed by the fact that it tasted very much like poached chicken however... The pita underneath was delicious alongside the pine nuts! The Shakshuka was delicious, but I wish they added cheese instead of having it as a paid add-on. The yolk was perfectly runny, although as someone who loves protein I wish they could have added one more. The servings were pretty decently large and we filled up fast!! The inside is very cozy and there’s also outdoor seating, which is located right next to the N line! Highly recommend & will come back :)

I've been to Beit Rima many times, and in both locations. Each visit has been consistent in food quality and service. The Cole Valley location is much smaller than the Duboce one but it feels homey. We got lucky and did not have to wait for a table for 2. We loved the mixed olives. There's great acidity and zest with the lemons and spices they add. Lots of bread with all of the meals. We also ordered a beef kebob plate that I did not take a picture of but it was very good, and the pickles and rice were a nice side to have with it. The chicken in the musakhan was cooked splendidly. Well done Beit Rima!

Definitely worth trying this place out! For vegetarians, the falafel is delicious. We loved the roasted potatoes and the many hummus and dips from the Mezze Platter. The pita was better than the house bread IMO.
